A Day in the Life
of The Leadership Experience

8:30am	Breakfast Each meal will take place in the University all you care to eat Dining Facility. There are several hot and cold meal options for each meal as well as a salad bar, cereal bar, dessert bar and of course there is always pizza and ice cream!
9:00am	Day Students Arrive/Morning Welcome
9:10am	Leadership Speaker Leaders representing a variety of fields engage with the participants on their secrets of success and discussing their college/career choices and opportunities.
9:45am	Leadership 101 Sessions Time will be spent each day in classrooms focusing on topics including Motivation, Negotiations, Presentation Skills, Risk Taking, and Effective Communication.
10:45am	Define U Sessions Each day students will participate in this interactive session that covers a variety of ways to get involved in leadership and the opportunity to practice the skill. Favorites of past participants include: High School Program Idea Exchange. Participants share their favorite positive programs that exist in their high school and tips on how to implement them. Leadership Amazing Race. Using teambuilding, decision making and other skills, students will explore the Villanova University campus. “Apprentice” Like competition. Students engage in workshop activities focusing on service and helping others.
1:00pm	Lunch/Free Time
2:30pm	Capstone Project Time Participants will spend time each day in small project teams creating, designing, and organizing such items as a logo, mission and project. Past participants build long lasting friendships especially in these small groups and by the week’s end present to the entire group their leadership project. It is entrepreneurship, combined with innovation, combined with leadership and a lot of FUN!
3:30pm	Ropes Course Team Building Challenge Several times during the week, students will spend time on the Villanova Challenge Course, taking risks, motivating peers to complete these hands on challenge! Another favorite of past participants is “The Wall” on the last day!
5:00pm	Free Time Students can utilize the basketball and volleyball courts; hang out in the Cyber café or one of the many other beautiful spots on campus.
6:00pm	Dinner
7:30pm	Evening Programming Evening programming will be an opportunity to continue to interact with the other participants from across the country through organized fun activities such as a Villanova scavenger hunt.
